Robert L. Hirsch, Ph.D, Chief Scientific Officer

Dr. Robert Hirsch, trained in immunology and virology, has extensive academic and industry research, product development and commercialization experience.   He has designed and implemented innovative commercialization and R & D activities in many therapeutic areas, including infectious diseases, immunologicals, oncology, orthopedic, endocrinology, transplantation, neurologic diseases and psychiatric disorders.  He has been highly successful in facilitating the development, operations and medical marketing for innovative and important new product developments and product launches. 

Dr. Hirsch has managed successful groups at Johnson and Johnson, MedImmune, Inc. (AZ) and Auxillium Pharmaceuticals. He has also acted as Chief Executive Officer and a Board Member at Calibrant Biosystems, Inc. and more recently as Chief Scientific Officer at Green Fence Holdings,  a Company focused on cannabis development.   For the past several years, Hirsch has managed Hirsch Bio Consulting, LLC.   Dr. Hirsch has worked with venture capital groups, technology transfer offices and a number of startup businesses.   

Dr. Hirsch received his doctorate from Georgetown University, and continued in academics at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and University of Maryland School of Medicine for 10 years before heading into the pharmaceutical industry.
