Immugen® has secured a number of patents and one registered trademark.  The worldwide patenting process is quite burdensome for a start-up company such as Immugen.  Our goal is to focus on getting approval for our first drug(s), establish a presence in the market and keep prices as low as possible throughout the world to extend the life of the brand beyond the life of the patent.  Competitive pricing, along with brand recognition, should reduce the likelihood that generic drug makers would try to reproduce the product.
